Well, it's been a long time since I've updated. I finished my final year exams this month, and since I didn't study for it, I'm hoping I've done enough work this year for me to do well enough to get the course I want at Uni. Meanwhile, all my friends have gone up north to Kalbarri to celebrate graduation, and I got left behind cause my dad wouldn't let me go

To soothe that rough spot (as if anything could soothe that spot), I'm determined to finish NaNo this year, so that I can say there was a valid reason as to why I didn't go. I must say, considering since I've only had 17 days to write, 35k is an accomplishment. 3 days left of NaNo, and if I can pull off 5k a day, I'll be able to win NaNo for the second year in a row. But at this time last year, I was around 30k as well, and I managed to win, so I know I can do it again if I try.



Finally! After a month of waiting, my new Canon Powershot G10 has arrived. I love my new camera, and I swear, if I spin those dials anymore, they're gonna wear out before I can do anything with it But they're so fun to spin!

During this holidays, I'm going to be indulging myself in photography sessions, so be on the lookout for new deviations! I promise I won't flood your inbox with deviations. I only pick the best photos



So my one year subscription for dA is almost up, and I'm ashamed to say I haven't been using it well. In fact, quite the opposite of productive. Instead of uploading deviations, I have been cleaning out my gallery. I've decided that I'm going to be serious about using dA for as a site for art, and not just a place to upload my stuff. So I've raised the bar a little, and now I'm only going to upload the best I can give.

In addition to photography, I'm planning to take up writing short stories again after NaNo. I have a nice little notebook all prepared for it. Soon, soon my gallery will be filled again Oh how I have missed writing... I'm coming back soon my love
